- Rendezvous for z/OS applications are able to handle in excess of thousands of messages per second. Rendezvous for z/OS provides a very fast and efficient messaging service to your mainframe assets.
TIBCO's mainframe messaging software provides C, COBOL and assembler APIs for the z/OS platform. It installs easily and quickly and comes with supported samples and utilities. Message applications and daemons can run under z/OS or z/OS UNIX System Services (USS).
TIBCO Enterprise Message Service Client for z/OS
Applications running on the mainframe can use industry-standard APIs to interact with TIBCO Enterprise Message Service™ servers running on an open systems operating platform. It supports:
- Publishing and subscribing from applications
- JMS-compliant messages in addition to TIBCO Rendezvous® and Enterprise Message Service-compliant messages
- Certified message delivery
- Reliable (topic), guaranteed and transactional (queues) message delivery
TIBCO Rendezvous for z/OS
Applications running on the mainframe can interact with TIBCO Rendezvous servers running on an open systems operating platform. It supports:
- Publishing and subscribing from applications
- Distributed queues
- Certified message delivery
- Enhanced features such as multicasts, border routing, and point-to-point applications
